Dyna-Glo 80000 BTU Propane Utility Space Heater

Tested the DynaGlo heater last night in an 800 square foot mostly insulated barn/workshop. The ignition worked on the first click and on a 50* night it heated up the space to about 58* in an hour on the low setting. The unit is made of thin sheet metal which is fine but the weight makes it hard to keep steady while depressing the ignition button (notice the bricks I placed against the base in my photo). I filed down the sharp edges on the sheet metal holes where my hands go to pick it up. Comes with a 10 foot hose and regulator rated for 5psi. The flame is larger and makes more of a sound than expected but it's nowhere near as loud an annoying as the rocket heaters. It absolutely requires concrete or another non-flammable surface to sit on and 72" clearance around it. It's basically a propane fire pit with a can around it. Overall I am happy with the simplicity and function in the mild weather. Probably won't be the main heat source for my leaky old space but a backup to use as my woodstove is heating up.

This is an amazing outdoor heat. It warms our space wonderfully. Please be careful and not have it close to the vinyl of your tent wall!
