I really like my doors so far! We have a lower ceiling in the basement and I’ve tried other barn door kits and they never worked right. This worked really well! They look really nice and close well. I wish there was a little handle on the inside of the door as well. But since they are meant to be closet doors I assume that’s why.

I wish I could share a before picture with my review, so you can really see the difference upgraded doors make for a space. I replaced a 50 year old brown lacquered passage door with these bifold doors and the transformation is amazing. The access to our utility closet is actually more convenient now too, since it glides open and closed almost effortlessly. Installation took my husband more like an hour, but it was more to do with his perfectionism than the difficulty of the task. We did replace the included plastic handle with our own metal handle to match the rest of the laundry room, so you may see a slight difference in my photos than the manufacturer photos. I’d definitely recommend these doors, they definitely help to modern up the space.

The timing of this purchase was perfect since the old door had to be removed for a new dryer install. Replacing the existing bi fold door purchased at a big box store with this one is certainly an upgrade. This door is thicker, well made and nicely finished. Works for me.
