After a little bit of DIY love, I couldnt be happier with this vanity. The design itself is stunning the deep blue hue paired with the gold hardware gives my bathroom a high-end, boutique hotel feel. One of the standout features is the soft-close drawers. They glide effortlessly and shut silently, which is a major plus. The unit feels sturdy and well-constructed - even just the base without the vanity top is heavy. However, when it first arrived, I noticed the finish on the base had a slightly ashy or dull appearance. To remedy this, I applied a clear coat of polyurethane to the base. This was a total game-changer. The polyurethane completely eliminated that chalky look, deepening the blue and giving it a sophisticated, clean sheen that really makes the gold accents pop. It also provides some extra peace of mind regarding water protection in a humid bathroom environment.
