Medicine cabinet I am a renter and my landlord just tiled the bathroom. The room is very small and I needed somewhere to put my things to keep them private as well as store some items. I ordered this because it stated that it could be installed either recessed into the wall or could be wall-mounted. I knew he would not want to cut into his tile. I carefully measured for this item, but for some reason when it arrived, it just seems really big. I think because the cabinet depth is about 5 inches. It sticks out far from the wall. The cabinet does have an impressive amount of storage inside. I was quite pleased that there is not only room for medicines, but make-up and extra products as well. There is storage not only in the back of the cabinet, but also on the back of the mirror. It doubles your storage space available. It’s very well designed. I am very pleased with the appearance of the mirror and like the fact that the door has quite close hinges. The back of the cabinet is totally black which in my opinion makes it look a little bit more industrial or ultra modern. It does however, match my fixtures and shower faucet. This is an extremely heavy piece. It weighs over 15 pounds and you need two people to hang it. I am making this work in my small bathroom, but it would look better if it was in a larger room. I am pleased with the way it’s constructed and the ample storage space available. I would definitely purchase this again as it is a quality item.
