Updated my front door with this ceiling ring and a wooden bar stool seat

Product measurements, material and design were exactly as represented online. I am using it a bit differently as an embellishment to a flush, round shape ceiling light fixture on my full front porch. The accurate product sizing was important as I was working with a similar size light fixture. Though if a cut was required, it appeared there would be no problem doing so. The ring added a very affordable, elegant embellishment to the look of the light fixture and ceiling of the porch. Easy to install as the measurements represented were true, so it fit over the whole light fixture without any cutting or sizing creativity. I used construction glue via a caulk gun and it adhered true quickly to the ceiling. I used a few wood trim finishing screws as an extra precaution. I pre-drilled small starter holes in the ring and the finish screws were easy to install. I used quality wood filler for the screw-head holes and sanded smooth when dry. All worked just as planned- very simple, like wood trim but with less effort.

This was a pretty good item, I would order it again, or recommend it and this website to friends. My only thing, even though it says 21 1/2 OD" I guess I needed/wanted it bigger. Other than that, it was an excellent choice, I painted the inside of the ring (ceiling), the same color as my extended fireplace, "cobbler red," it looks great and I've received many compliments, it does what it says, AND it was completely flat on the backside, so it was flushed to the ceiling when it was nailed and glued on.
