This molding is sturdy and lightweight. Easy install. Only difficulty encountered was matching patterning at the end of a piece especially when using the corner pieces. But I dont think it is super noticeable. Overall great product!

This is a great, finely detailed, beautiful product. A few things I learned in installing this product: Don't even think of painting this with a brush - the design holds paint which slowly creeps and pools during drying (I painted them before installation). I wasted two pieces because of this. I ended up putting on very thin coats, but this required 4 coats for complete coverage. I demonstrated that spray paint will give a much cleaner finish and will take less time. Don't believe anyone who says you can install this with just adhesive!! Even the recommended PowerGrab has very poor adhesion to the back of these moldings due to the very fine pores. It takes a while for the adhesive to grab the polyurethane and you just can't hold it that long. The molding can and will pop off leaving the adhesive on the wall/ceiling and virtually none on the molding. You don't need a finishing nailer, but you will need to tack the molding in place with 4 - 6 finishing nails per piece - this can easily be done with a simple hammer.
