I ordered 10 of these for my project and they look fantastic with the brick!

Our wood gable vents were 23 years old and rotting terribly. There were also large gaps that would allow squirrels and rats into the attic. When trying to secure these with galvanized screening it was clear they were rotten. Neighbors had paid large amounts of money to have new wooden vents made for their houses, so I was THRILLED to find these online. The curve was slightly off, but we were able to shave then to fit the opening with a vibrator tool. They fit so tightly that once they were installed (using a rubber mallet) they only needed to be caulked to stay in place. We actually left the old vents behind these and only removed the rotten brick mold. That way we had something to support as a "back" to these vents. I can't believe how nice they look. A definite upgrade to our home. We will be recommending them to our immediate neighbors who also have rotting gable vents. Thank you for this wonderful product.
