I placed two of these on either side of my fireplace and the entire wall feels like it has new life. The finish has so many subtle shades that in different light it shifts from warm to cool. Guests comment on it every time they visit and I find myself staring at them longer than I expected.

It feels personal because I got to pick the finish. The vintage effect looks natural and not forced.

Im constantly looking for decor that doesnt feel massproduced, something with flaws that tell a story. BKTBTR delivers that in spades. I got this as a gamblephotos looked good, but I worried about scale and finish. Once up, scale is perfect. Finish is layered, showing wood tonal variation so it doesnt read flat. The subtle distress is enough to suggest age but not so much it feels damaged. Holds a shelf full of ceramics with zero drama. One of those rare pieces that overdeliver.
