great product for my purposes. I am putting up crown moulding in my living room and had a long stretch that needed an architectural interest to break it up. I used these coupling blocks with the same corner blocks and am very happy with it. Since my crown moulding is a dark chocolate brown I painted the coupling and corner blocks black and then dry brushed the same dark brown I used on the crown moulding over the fleur de lis ,sides and edges to bring out the detail. The finished result was awesome.

This item was well molded with no defects and was easily mounted between the ceiling and wall using Phenoseal vinyl adhesive caulk.
