Recently installed a new ceiling fan. Works well but visable mounting screws on the side detract from appearance Split medallion to the rescue! Inside diameter of the medallion 5 inches. Outside fan diameter 5 1/4 inches. Trouble !. Down to the work shop where medallion ID opened to 9/32. Medallion then mounted upside down, around the fan and against the ceiling using a very small amount of adhesive. Screws now hidden and appearance very nice.

Base on new chandelier in dining room was not big enough to cover the hole cut in the ceiling. This medallion was the perfect solution. The 2 pieces were each glued to the ceiling on each side of the light base and pushed into the base and held in place to make it all fit together. Looks beautiful and adds a special touch to the room.
