I installed this medallion ring and accented it with urethane foam embellishments. The finish on the trim ring is smooth/primed. I added an orange peel finish to match the texture of my plaster ceiling. It looks like it was original to the house.

Easy enough to lay out..painting was a breeze...getting it on the celing put all my DIY skills to the test....would have liked to have a list of "tips and tricks" to help me along, but alls well and looks great.
