Fixation ronde sur surface: évent fonctionnel à pignon standard en PVC

Bought these to replace two old ones for a cleint. Painted them to match the new shutters and front door we installed. Looks great!

Vents are pretty good quality. One had a crack we had to fix. They took forever to get.

My main issue with the "functional" aspect of the gable vent is how the PVC has been routed out. They apparently can't cut the vents at an upward angle so the openings are not shielded by the slats. The whole point of the slats is to prevent rain from being blown into the vents. I live in FL where the idea of horizontal (hurricane) rain is not unheard of. These vents will offer little protection from that. Also the actual ventilation is greatly diminished due to the size of the openings, again this is due to the limitation of the machines cutting these vents. They look nice so I'd definitely recommend them as decorative but that's about it.
