Hooked this onto a curved shower pipe as a replacement shower head. Didn't work well, with all the spray dropping close to the wall. It actually requires a piece of straight piping that would connect to the piece that exits the wall, and then to the shower head. Had to remove this one and use the previous shower head until I can take the time to seek out the proper piece. Vendor should explain this need in the sales literature and instructions, or actually include the pipe with the shower head as a kit.
