Dummy sets are interior handlesets with trim only. A dummy set is ideal for a door that does not require a latch or for double doors where the dummy side will receive the latch from an active handleset.
Dummy sets are surface mounted; they have no latch and require no bore hole.
No handing designation required

after a couple years the brass started corroding and the knob fell off. Its a beautiful knob so I hope that they will replace it as my wife loves it.
