Plaque à pousser / tirer

No screws included. I realize doors can be different thicknesses, but most are 1 3/4" and so 2" screws should have been included. Just get your own screws, right? No big deal, right? Well... the problem with the manufacturer not providing the screws is now you get to figure out what size. I own a bicycle shop and have a full assortment of thread checkers... and they seem to be 1/4"-20 threading. Except I bought 2 sets of these and several of the holes are very sloppy with 1/4"-20... but there isn't a metric size that threads. Had screws been included and then thread sloppily, we'd know it was garbage quality instead of guessing on the right size screws. Another issue is there is literally only 4 threads cut. A pull this large is going to go on a large door (mine are solid wood and glass, each 102" high, with closers). I am now going to be relying on 4 threads of a 1/4"-20 screw (very small) when someone opens the door not to rip them off. And all of this is a shame since from an appearance standpoint they are beautiful and are solid brass. Just zero thought put into attachment or what they're actually used for.
