I got compliments on the design of this faucet all the time. Except two years after installing it, the black coating has chipped away very easily on the drain and at the base where the lever meets the faucet spout. I plan to buy some repair paint to extend the life without letting it look as trashy as it now does. I also just had to clear the clogged drain for the first time and learned I had to completely deconstruct the faucet and remove the drain piece. Then I had to flush the drain for around 20 minutes and use a chopstick to pull out stuck pieces. The engineering makes it impossible to clear a stopped drain without completely disassembling it. You cannot simply pull out the stopper and snake it. Very ignorant design. Would not buy again.
