The first unit arrived with the door frame splintered near the hinges and the mirror was smashed. The replacement unit came with the door frame apart where it was glued near the hinges, but the mirror was intact and no splintering of the wood. I decided to keep the second unit and re-glued the door frame and reinforced it by glueing and screwing slats on the back. So it works, but I would say the door frame is not strong enough as shipped. I was also surprised that there is a lot of plywood in this product. For the price, I expected solid wood, and better attention to how the wood is joined. Although disappointed in the product quality, at the end of the day it is acceptable and certainly a beautiful piece superficially. But I would never have paid this much if I had realized I was getting a product with only a few pieces of solid wood, but a lot of plywood too.
