Chain Door Guard

We got this chain door guard to keep our two young grandsons safe from a busy road. It was easy to install and works well with our protruding door frame. A slide lock wouldn’t work on this door. The satin nickel metal is sturdy and the door guard is well made.

This is a quality heavy duty lock set. It's a quick easy install with the provided screws. It's definitely not one of the cheap thin metal ones that you see in thrift stores. I'm using it to keep a door shut that doesn't latch completely during hot summer months when the deck wood contracts and my yurt frame shifts slightly. Fixing my deck will cost a fortune, but this is a quick reliable fix for now that will keep me safe. :)

I purchased the lock for an addirional layer of security. My kids are on the stage of curiosity and i want to make them safe while at home. This chain guard is made up of stainless steel which makes it durable. It was pretty easy to install. The color matched our other door fixtures. Thanks Wayfair! I have an added peace of mind.

I still have not installed this chain door guard since I’m between 2 different locations. But these came in great condition. Also I’m glad it came with an extra screw just in case. It goes in smoothly.
