I had this installed on a very old exterior door that only had a basic gold lock set, it didn’t seem secure at all. So, I replaced the lock set and added a security latch strike along with this reinforcer. I’m definitely sleeping better at night with this combo.

Just got my Solid Brass Door Reinforcer. Very nice solid brass,very nice looking! Unfortunately I did not check my door clearance,and properly measure my door so it would not fit. My advice is to check your door clearance before you order!

It’s thick metal so it’s sturdy. I didn’t not put it on the door yet waiting on new handles to arrive. My only concern is that it may not let me close the door all the way. But I think it’ll add a nice look and make it more secure.

It is just right! I think it will add a lot of good looks and make the door more substantial and better secured. I haven't installed it yet because I am waiting for the new doorknobs. I was a bit concerned if the spacing of the holes would match up but it does.

This a really nice door Reinforcer, unfortunately the size does not match up with my lock set up on our front door. I love the quality of the company it is from as I already have other items from them.
