Finally a lip strike long enough!! As you can see, the current lip strike has been drilled many times, so there is no more wood to secure the top part. This extra long strike will absolutely make a difference as I can drill into a different part of the frame. I love that it came with different lengths of screw. It will be a breeze to install.

Super heavy-duty strike. Look at the size of the screws that are provided!! I ordered it because I have a problem with my existing full lip strike. I built my yurt on top of a deck, and the deck shifts depending on rain/heat. The strike was installed too far back originally, and re-positioning the holes hasn't worked. This allows me four new screw holes in fresh wood, and it's thin enough to install without routing-out a bed for it. Problem solved! :)

This did the job I hoped it would and added strength and security to our door where someone recently tried to force it and damaged the frame. I had hoped it would cover more of the area but it certainly adds strength where it was split and is tighter to the door than the original strike plate, which makes it more difficult to access.

This is an extra long and secure door strike. Mine was badly set before I came here and, therefore, the screw holes are enlarged and damaged. This door strike, with three holes on each end, reaches well above the old holes so they are no longer an issue. This beats trying to fill holes with wood filler, waiting for it to dry and resetting screws! Much more secure, as well, even if two holes on the strike aren’t used at all because of bad holes in behind. That still leaves two holes on each end of the plate in use!

Had what i needed git ut quickly! Want a mini purchases I’ve had to make because I had some issues with break-ins and I kind of had ideas of what I think I might need so I just looked for it on there and it came up with exactly what I needed not knowing really what to ask for, but I gave a description of what I thought it would do and by golly there it is so Never can’t wait for out always check into it first and see what you can find.
