It worked out great!! I decided not to center it because theb I would have had to add 2x4s in the wall. So I just put it in the corner which worked out because I didnt do a custom niche and that had to be put in between the studs size it all aligned. I really like it and think it is great way to add bench seating that is more streamlined than going all the way to the floor.
