When you have your first aged visitor you realize "oh, I better make this place safer." This handrail works with the style of my house. My stairwell is very narrow and didn't have space for a wide handrail. This product was perfect.

1) Threads dont line up 2) Accept it, just try several combinations of parts to find any combination that lines up 3) Dont force anything 4) Go to the hardware store and buy heavy duty wallboard fastener. Not the cheap screws and fasteners provided. 5) Dont use ANY power tools. A screw drive is all it takes. 12 xs. 6) Quick advice measure 38 from the stair to the wall for each wall board connector with four fastner screws. Start with the center, and lightly screw in 4 screws to hold in place while you mark the bottom and top connectors and 8 more wallboard fasteners.
