HIGH-QUALITY, TEMPERED GLASS, FRAMELESS GLASS FIXED SHOWER PANEL.
The screen is a glass panel mounted to the wall that prevents water from a shower or bathtub from splashing onto the floor. All our shower screens are made of tempered safety glass 3/8" Inch (10 mm) and are delivered with matching hinges.
SAFETY GLASS
All our doors are made of toughened/tempered glass. Tempered glass is a type of safety glass processed by controlled thermal or chemical treatments to increase its strength compared with normal glass. Tempering puts the outer surfaces into compression and the interior into tension. Such stresses cause the glass, when broken, to crumble into small granular chunks instead of splintering into jagged shards as plate glass (annealed glass) does. The granular chunks are less likely to cause injury.
ABOUT THE COLOR OF THE GLASS
Note: This door is normally made in float glass, float glass is transparent and lets the light pass through without problems but if you look at it from the edge it has a greenish colour.
Please Notice: Shower Doors SANDBLASTING WILL BE ON THE EXTERIOR SURFACE. The surface that will have the Sandblasted Art will be to the exterior surface, OUTSIDE of the shower. The inside surface of the shower glass will be smooth glass that you can squeeze!
