When looking at the product picture it looks like a right-hand orientation for the lever. However, after two items were shipped I am told this is a left-hand orientation lever because you vantage point is outside the house while facing the outside handle. Hmmm...maybe this could be described in the product web page so that customers do not get confused when ordering.
