This is for the tank only! The manufacturer made an error in the listing when I first purchased this toilet set. Originally I ordered what was defined as a "set". however, I only received the toilet base, no tank! After contacting Wayfair, they corrected the problem and sent the tank as well. FOR THE COMPLETE SET SEE "39676000 Essence 1.28 GPF (Water Efficient) Elongated Two-Piece Toilet (Seat Included)". The set looks quite modern and provides an up-to-date finish to my newly remodeled beautiful powder room! I love Wayfair, its outstanding selection of numerous items, and its customer service!!! I never received this item after months of communications with Wayfair. A rep. told me there is a team of people that read these, which I didn’t know! She said to give a specific review despite not receiving the item and it might be helpful to Wayfair and that no one else would read it besides the T&T squad. So I’m going to be pretty specific about my experience in hopes that some of these bugs might be prevented for others. It did not cost me any money, but it did cost me hours of time and [wo]man power trying to sort it out. I was also pregnant and admittedly probably a little ornery during the experience, but now I see the humor in my elusive commode adventures. The manufacturer kept sending this part to a warehouse in California instead of my house in North Carolina. So for months I had the [heavy] bottom of a toilet on my front porch (classy I know ). The strange thing was that Wayfair didn’t seem to have a sound way to communicate this to the manufacturer or set up a way to send it on to me from the warehouse. Finally I thought I had it sorted with a manager and waited eagerly for delivery….instead when it arrived I realized I got another toilet bottom and still no tank lol! So then I had two fancy porch toilet bottoms. At this point another manager said they had sent the tank too many times (to a warehouse) and that he was canceling the entire endeavor because the toilet was no longer in stock. They literally had tried to send me like 6 or 7 tanks at that point so I understand. I would be hesitant to keep sending toilet tanks into the abyss as well. He would set up a pickup for my porch half toilets. Someone came and picked them up promptly, so all’s well that ends well. I can look back and laugh now! I would suggest maybe not letting that manufacturer (or any others) sell toilets in pieces if possible for future customers. What will anyone do with half a toilet? I guess if part of yours was broken? Even still, it would probably need to be the same brand to fit and what are the chances? The description was confusing because it said two parts included. In actuality apparently they are counting the seat as a part. I wasn’t the only one confused according to the reviews. I love Wayfair and countless people really did try to help. If this would have been an item I paid for I would not be a happy camper. As it wasn’t, it was just an irritating experience and not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. I will probably be buying a new toilet in person though just to make sure I get everything I need! Thank you for letting me be a Tried and True member, Wayfair.
