We looked around for substitutes but nothing came close to the design and beauty of the Puravida Shower head. Im assigning it 4 stars because of the high cost. Look at it as a work of art vs the world's greatest shower head.

I researched all of the best rainfall shower heads and finally took delivery of the Puravida 400. Price seemed quite high, especially for a unit manufactured in China, but I relied partly on the "you get what you pay for" adage and was not disappointed. It is exceptionally well built, very heavy and not an install for a neophyte. The effect however is really great. It is beautiful, complementing our large glass enclosure, offering a relatively strong downfall pressure that is evenly distributed and firm enough to rinse hair etc. My wife and I are both pleased and I would recommend it as worth the expense both for the hardware and the install.
