We use it in our back sun room when it gets warm and this does a wonderful job at cooling down a medium sized room. It’s easy to use and convenient, the only thing I dont like is that the base comes off so easily and when I try move it, it almost falls over every time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a rather lovely tower fan. It's tall, thin, and quiet! Initially, when you take it out of the box, turning the fan upside down to put the base on would be best. Ensure the tabs fit correctly. Please don't force them, or you will break it. Once it's in then, you will need to screw the screws in. The handbook says the battery is included, but ours was not, which is not a problem cause we just picked it up from a well-known store. I prefer to get up to turn the fan on or off, so it does not bother me. I like that we can place the remote into the back of the fan. It's a good fit, so the remote will not fall out even if you bump into the fan. Even when you have the fan on high, it does not wobble like some other fans I've had.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to like this fan as it seems like it offers more direct coolness due to the span of the fan. It does put out good cool air, but it is also unstable. I plugged it in when I first got it to test it out. When I went to unplug it, it tipped over. Anything over level 1 is also pretty loud. As I was looking it up online, I noticed that the fan in the picture has a base, which was not included in mine. That certainly explains why it is not stable, but I am not sure if that explains why it is so loud.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this Holmes 42'' Digital Tower Fan. It works great. I like the easy to read digital display. I like that it is oscillating. We set it near our pellet stove and use it to blow the heat outward and towards the other rooms. It will be nice in the summer too for keeping our house nice and cool. The light is nice for night time. This Holmes fan definitely gets the job done. It comes with several settings. It also comes with a remote as well and a spot to leave it when not in use. I would recommend to anyone looking for a nice oscillating fan with improved features.

You can control literally everything from the flow to cool level.. it actually blows cool air and the sound and strength can either be silent or very powerful depending on how you like it! The added light is perfect for my daughter as a night light while she sleeps. Love this fan!!

The air easily hits me no matter what position I am in without having to move it. I love that it has a light in the back and a place to grip it if you do have to pick it up. It has different speeds and oscillates with the press of a button. I do prefer the buttons instead of a dial like some other fans have. I love how quiet it is and how sleek it looks in my house. Would definitely recommend this fan. Great quality.

It cooled down the room 10 - 20 degrees. Absolutely love it! Easy to use controls! Perfect size for office.

I like the different settings. And I love that it has a remote control. It’s a simple set up and start using in less than a minute. I love it!
