You have to buy the hard ware separately. And I stained them to the color of my choosing. There is plenty of wood to make the x’s or z’s in any design you chose. I purchased 4, 24 in wide ones and one 36 in wide one since I had my measurements a bit off. My opening was 90in w, I should have gotten bigger doors initially but sometimes things like this happen in a diy project.

There is no 8ft (48×96 inches) wood barn door available in the market, so I purchased this. It comes as a set of individual wood panels and need to assmble them. It looks good after assembling, though. My delivery package was ripped off, and the edge of one of the wood pannel was slightly broken, I had to fix it with the wood glue. It would be great if the package was strong enough. Also, there is a lot of work to assemble them, be prepared with at least 4 clamping tools, and wood glue to stick the panels together. It takes even more time if you want to paint it. Overall, the door looks great after assembling.

Yes it did need to be fully assembled but it was worth it for the price and the quality. Gave it a quick coat of antique white stain and bought the handle and hardware separately, we saved a lot by buying everything separate. We installed it to create a privacy barrier for the bedroom and bath closest to the entryway and it's now like a mini master bedroom. Highly recommended!
