This was the only hardware I could fine with a solid rail. The kit arrived well packaged and I am impressed with the overall quality of materials and the instructions. The rail is solid, and the mouning hardware is really well designed, with adjustable spacers depending on your configuration. I did not want the metal straps on the front of the door, so I opted for the top mount configuration. I outsmarted myself and added another 1/4" to the recommended height, and I should not have done that. Use the 2" rail stops from the top of the door and you will be fine, even if you are installing over a carpet floor, like I was. I also wound up trimming the rail because I have a perpendicular wall next tot he door. I used a small hack saw, which worked OK, but it took some time and effort. Perhaps a circular grinder would have been better. Regardless, it worked out fine and looks great. I definitely recommend this hardware if you are haning a barn door.
