Expensive and only Lasted a couple months.

The manufacturer Improved the hardware on this version. It’s now metal instead of plastic, easier to install and less likely to break.

Soft close works great but can’t withstand much weight or it can break. I’m replacing mine for a 2nd time.

It's still a little flimsy, but much better than the seat that came with the toilet originally.

Much better quality than the seat that came with the toilet, heartier. We would love the option of different finishes on the hinge plates. We’re happy with this, overall.
