This whole set up was destined for failure. There is a reason why there are no examples of any customers who’ve installed the doors if as if they are the pivot closet French door installation instead of the bifold door. Because it’s unpossible. The instructions are so obtuse and absurd that they’re almost ridiculous and laughable. Requiring measurements to the 116” but not at all making it clear as to where should measure to what and why. 3-12” from the wall — but at an angle that’s also 1316” to the center of something else that’s pretty objective there. There should be templates. But no. You are eyeballing what is 58” to the center of some hole. Predrilled holes Ha! Haha! They aren’t even in line with their instructions. Predrilled holes to nowhere. The clamps that go to the top rail are not wide enough to hold how heavy the door is. And I feel like they are off by 14” — no room for error. I could not get the top to latch without popping out the bottom pin. And if I got it to latch — it’s because the clamp fell out of line thanks to the door being too heavy for the hardware given. Respectfully — nothing has made me more furiously irritated than these poorly written instructions with objectively ridiculous landmarks and measurements. A template. Several templates. Predrilled holes in the right places. Even a sticker that said TOP with an arrow on the doors would’ve been helpful. Labeling which screws are the 1-14 vs the 1-12” would’ve been nice. I have never felt more defeated by a relatively simple product to install in my entire life. I wanted to throw these doors out my second story window. And all of the unlabeled hardware just throw into a mix bag with it. And set fire to those insane instructions. I would like the manufacturer to do a YouTube video installation of these doors. I want to see them actually doing it — because I don’t think you can actually install these as French pivot doors. The hardware isn’t strong enough or structured correctly. Then I want them to give this exact thing to some famous YouTube DIYer — that’s not a professional — and see if they can do it. I am the daughter of a cabinet maker. I grew up woodworking and home remodeling. I can do annoying measurements. This It hurts to say how badly this installation defeated me. I’ve never been this frustrated with anything before. So much so I am not determined to actually return this without the original box. Good. Luck. To me.

The product itself is good. Unfortunately there were missing parts and issues that required us to seek out additional materials.

I am completing a master bedroom remodel and these closet doors add a really nice touch. Very well made and looks great!
