This product is shipped unassembled. But assembly is very easy. Be sure to wear gloves when handling as the edges are sharp. It comes with both adhesive and screws for attaching to the chimney. In my case I used both. My cap covers a double flue and is fairly large. My only complaint was that it came with 4 screws to attach. I ended up buying 2 more screws for the long sides. I am very please with the product.
