After reading the other reviews I am feeling good that we got 7 years before it started leaking. But not feeling good about our warped cabinet floor. And to counter their reply ahead of time our water supply to the unit is through a reverse osmosis filtration system. So it's not the damned water quality

I bought and installed this unit November 2017. It has been working perfectly for 7 years. Replacing the filter cartridge is simple and quick! Installation was a bit tricky due to my kitchen sink and cabinet design.

Another (my second) has now failed prematurely. This one lasted all of 3 years 2 months. Verdict: Great convenience, Terrible design. It is unfathomable to me that this well-known brand continues to manufacture a product that fails so oftem (read the reviews...). or maybe they just like using planned obsolescence to prop up sales? If you MUST buy one, invest in the best leak detection system you can afford.... my cabinet is ruined because despite the alarm, we were away when it decided to fail.

I built my house 19 years ago and this is the fourth unit , tank , I needed to replace due to leaking tank , only lasts anywhere from 3-5 years , which always puts it out of warranty , you were nice enough to give me a 50 % discount on this new tank and it leaked from the moment we installed it , thanks for replacing it at no charge , this is the last one I will buy , won’t use this product ever again again , only reason I have been is because I am set up for connections under the sink for your product and it’s easier just to swop out , but never again ! Will re plumb for a different manufacturer next time when this one fails !

Best fixture in my house! Great for soaking dishes before d/washer.
