Power .75HP - Broyeur de déchets alimentaires 3/4 HPc - Alimentation continue POWER .75HP

I purchased this product in April of 2025, installed by a plumber in May/June. I have continuous issues with the motor humming and hesitating starting up and very often it will just trip it's internal overload. The unit is never jammed and the allen key will spin it freely. There is either a design issue with the Insinkerator wall outlet adapter wiring, or the motor is failing.

Replaced an old 1/2 HP Badger that wore out (4+ years old, came with home.) Installation was simple. I really liked the EZ Connect adapter. I kept the already installed Sink Flange and Mounting Rack. Only took a bit over an hour including leak troubleshooting. Compared to the old one it is quieter and faster. Recommend it as a solid replacement.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Picked this up to replace our old worn out one from the 70's, this was a direct replacement so it was real easy to install,if you do not have 1 i would recommend a electricion and maybe a plumber if you do not know how to do it, it works really well and is way less noisy than our old one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a pretty handy person and can do most above average jobs around the house but the install of this garbage disposal was one of the more challenging projects. It takes up a decent ammount of room under the sink and with a Reverse Osmosis and Instant Hot water maker already under the sink, space is very limited. Once I overcame the space issue, the product works well and breaks down the food waste with no problem.
