Perfect for my basement stairs

Railing came on time and all parts there. Delivered in nice shape.

So happy with this however I wish I had really read the instructions prior to ordering and had the supplies needed before starting the project.

I am handy and followed the directions to the T. The problem is that the 2x4 method in the directions led to some misalignment at the top and bottom posts. I was able to correct for this in other ways, but if someone is not good with tools/construction, they might be significantly challenged. Also, the railings did not fit into the angled fittings that came with the kit. Clearly was a design or manufacturing flaw. I had to grind the fitting down on the inside to get the railing to fit (used a Dremel tool). Finally, the metal caps that go over the angled brackets are SUPER hard to clip on to complete assembly. All that said, the tailing is sturdy and looks great! 4 vice 5 stars for the extra effort in assembly that was due to a manufacturing error.
