The bar is black so there is contrast between the marble walls and the safety device. I want it to be the first thing someone will see if an accident is about to happen. A friend told me about the grab bar which fits around the shower knob. And it is rated for 500 lbs.

Haven’t installed this yet but I now have 2 Invisia matte black grab bars ready for our bathroom remodel. They feel very high quality and our designer wants to use them in her future projects also. The finish is flat black with a slight textured feel. Works well with Moen matte black finishes. The weight capacity of 500 lbs is important as someone could fall and catch themselves on this circular bar with full confidence (my husband). They look amazing and not at all ‘institutional’.

It looks like it is very durable and easy to install. It even has 3M stickers on the back so that you can get it set in place before you drill it in. It’s even rated for 500 pounds.
