Panelled Wood and Metal Barn Door with Installation Hardware Kit

The doors had large sap areas, broken edges and cuts. The INSTRUCTIONS ARE TERRIBLE!!!! First, the doors are easy to assemble by one person, but what you need to know is that one side of the board is FLAT and will have a thin seam when assembled and the 45 degree angle they talk about is the curve in the one side of tongue and groove which is the side you want up. Besides the boards not being in great shape - I selected these doors bc they had pre-drilled holes and bottom door alignment which I saw in picture attached to the wall. YOU MUST DRILL HOLES FOR THE HARDWARE TO HANG ON RAILS. The bottom door alignment is a cheap plastic piece they want you to drill in your floor which I am not doing bc i have tile and thick carpet and the screws would never make it through the carpet. THEN THEY WANT YOU TO TAKE A CHAINSAW AND CUT OUT PART OF THE BOTTOM OF THE DOOR. No. Ok. So doors assembled east l. The install of hardware on top was “attempted” to be converted from MM to IN. So is 1.575 inch and 2396 of an inch and the drill types are in MM also. AS I SAID - instructions STINK! They give 2 steps for door assembly which caused me to have to figure out the weird bottom piece positioning myself- was it flush, is it suppose to hang down a bit I made it flush. Needed my husband to help with railings. They didn’t give me enough bolts to hang the tracks I am at hardware store getting more bolts, washers and the plastic things that go in the wall. They tell you to measure .4 inch from level floor, door height and addl addl 1.575.abovethat for track. I added them together for one measurement - much simpler. They give no help on installing large doors with multiple tracks. The decorative door accents that go over screws are really nice but fall right out of one door so i need to get some glue and glue those in or drill smaller holes. Two people are necessary hanging rails. aAs a woman, so like to do things myself, but the rails are heavy and to gold them and level, it was just too clumsy.

Its easy to install. Excellent quality. Definitely recommended. The finishes on the doors are well-done. I have purchased other barn doors from other company, but it came worse than expected. But this one is perfect, considering to buy another one for my master bedroom. Received faster than expected to be. Its exactly what we were looking for!

This door is beautiful and went up without much effort! It rolls smoothly. I added a small hanging handle to the edge to pull the door.

The "door" is actually a stack of boards that you have to build into a door. You need a power drill and large furniture clamps, a mallet and a whole list of other tools. I thought bought a door not a carpentry project.

I love my barn door. We hung it inside the doorway to make a closet bigger that had a traditional door that swung into it and took up a lot of space. Came just as I pictured!
