Ispring Whole House Electronic Descaler Water Conditioner ED2000

It’s not the most expensive descaled but so far so good. Puts on a nice light show too. The manual is well written. This appears to be manufactured in Atlanta. Not thrilled about the wall wart power supply and would had preferred an internal version. Edit after a few months, my 20 year old plumbing has been descaling en mass. I replaced my water heater, also 20 years old. The water is coming out with the lime sentiment. It quickly settles. But I’m hoping it finishes. The product obviously works. But be ready for the purge phase. . .

My husband installed this system pretty quickly and didn’t require much in the way of tools. Not sure if we’ve noticed a difference as of this review but definitely more affordable than the bigger systems.

Very easy to install. It only took a few mins to wrap the wires around the pipe and plug it in. I also have a whole house filtration system that took a lot more work to set up and I did not notice much of a difference with it. A few days after I installed this system, I felt like my hair was much softer. My kids hair also has a much lighter feeling after showering. After 2-3 loads my laundry smelled fresher and did not have the musty smell after a cycle. I haven’t actually tested the hardness yet overall I feel like there is a difference.

We are very excited about the outcome of our water after installing this descaling system. It was easy to install and set up with included, clear instructions. The cycle should run within the next 24 hours and we hope to see a measured difference in our water.

I have researched this product, and for the price, this was the best rated by Consumer Reports. Wayfair had the best price. Not only that, Wayfair's customer service and delivery are beyond reproach. Additionally, Wayfair's rewards programs are awesome.
