Every piece of tile has small defects I would describe is pitting. I didn't notice them at first until I held the tiles at an angle and then it was very obvious. Because of the hassle of returning heavy tile and due to the location where I was having them installed, I decided to go ahead and use them because they are the color I wanted. If you have a super bright area where you are installing, I would NOT recommend these. I have them under kitchen cabinets so the defects are not noticeable. At least they are not noticeable to anyone who has seen the installation. However, when I was sealing the grout, I noticed the little pits in the tile so I guess I should say they are not noticeable to anyone except me. I wish I had a photo to submit but I could not capture the defects because of the glare of light off the tiles. If I had it to do over, I would have gone through the hassle of returning them. Lesson learned. Would not recommend.

We purchased these subway tiles to remodel my Mother-in-laws kitchen. They were perfect. They were terrific quality and a great price. I did a lot of comparison shopping before I made my purchase and these were by far the best value and quality. I will definitely be buying them again for my own kitchen! I was a little apprehensive about tile being shipped but we did not have a single broken tile out of five boxes.
