I am a volunteer in a community woodshop where dust is a huge problem. When this device first became available we secured two of these for testing. My conclusions; 1. They work. By using them 24 hours per day we reduced the measured level of small dust particles significantly 2. They clean with electrostatic energy rather than by the friction of multiple layers of filter material. As a result they move a lot of air without much noise 3. This is a much overlooked tool for reducing COVID risk. It captures COVID-size particles and the droplets that carry them, reducing virus concentrations. And it moves air, simulating the light wind that CDC Has identified as protective In summary It’s far more effective than a conventional HEPA filter because it traps small particles while moving a much larger volume of air.
