I am giving this five stars because everything came intact. I could see once I get it up it will be exactly what I wanted. However, I was not thinking when I ordered it that my thermostat would be in the way. The reason why I do not have a picture of it fully up yet is because now I have to figure out how to bring it out at least by 2 inches so when the door slides back it will not interfere with the thermostat. I will update my review as soon as I can figure out I'm thinking about getting a 2x4 board to go across my wall and then I think I could attach everything else. I also must mention you will definitely need two people to put it up.

Medium weight and sturdy!! This barn door was fairly easy to install but it does require two people to install the sliding bracket. The door has a flat coat of paint so I would recommend painting it even if you want it to remain white- use at least a satin finish to reduce fingerprints. The handle is nice. Note- if your doorway is 38” wide, you will need to add wood to the interior frame or else there will be a gap. I recommend this door and would install it in other areas of my home

this is a pretty nice barn door for the price. the door itself is paint grade so it’s unfinished and will need a coat of paint otherwise it will scuff. the hardware is decent, the track comes with pre drilled holes which did not line up with any of our studs so that has been the only difficult part of install. once it is completely hung i will update my review on the quality of the hardware.

Love this door! It isn’t too modern or country! I think it is simple and elegant. The chunky silver handle in the above pics is what comes with the door. It wasn’t me, so I got the black from Wayfair too of course! I was nervous about the install, I have never put one up before. I put it up all by myself in an afternoon! I was amazed at how easy it was and the instructions were clear and good! It is hollow where I placed the handle but the handle goes all the way through, so perfectly stable. It is heavy enough not to feel cheap. I was able to use leave the door trim up. So pleased!

I was really upset when I unwrapped this barn door and saw that it was damaged. I did receive a replacement which was dented as well. The material is very cheap and obviously really flimsy which is too bad because it looked great in the pictures. Definitely do not recommend
