These rugged latches work well for us. There was a slight amount of modification needed to fit our purpose, we are pleased.

The set of handles I received were not a matched pair. The outside handle does not turn in the correct direction to open the inside latch. I returned them and received another mis-matched pair. Wasted my contractor's time trying to make them work.

Our first lock came in a box that was very beat up and so was the product, so we had to return it. The second box was also beat up, but the lock was not damaged. It works well and looks good on our gate. However, my husband said the install was a real pain. He had to take it totally apart and reverse the spring mechanism to make it work correctly.

Very well packed and very nicely made. Heavy and with substance. All pieces present and mechanism fully and easily workable. I am installing on gate but it has been raining every time I attempt so Ill add photos when on. Cheers and its a beautiful well wrought latch!
