These are now in my kitchen as doors for my laundry room. Love them. Great country accent for the kitchen.

I always look at reviews on products before I purchase them and often that is what dictates if I purchase the item or not. Therefore I felt like I had to share my situation since I’m a believer in researching others reviews before making a purchase. Unfortunately these barn doors did not work out in my favor despite what most of the reviews said. I recently purchased a house and purchased two of these doors for a barn door install to serve as our closet doors. I purchased them in the late summer/early fall and finally got them up and hanging about a 1.5 months ago. We decided we wanted to paint them and after removing all the hardware I noticed the paneling is peeling, cracking, and is veering large air bubbles. (Must be compressed cardboard in the center with a thin sheet of pine glue over it) Very disappointed in Kimberley Bays product especially for spending over $600 the doors thinking I was receiving a solid wood quality product as mentioned in reviews and description. Unfortunately for Kimberly Bay I will not be purchasing anymore of their products unless they can fix and address this issue. I am fortunate I caught this before replacing the bedroom/closet doors throughout the remainder of the house since I was considering Kimberly Bay products. Just thought I would spread the word on my experience with this particular product.

I bought two of these one was perfect it was constructed well there was no issues with it it went up perfectly square The second one was machined incorrectly so the track on the center is off center and where the hangers go the holes are not square so it gives it a half inch tilt I have notched the holes in order to get it to be somewhat level it was unfortunate it would have been too expensive to return otherwise I would have but instead I made do with what they sent me

This was just what I wanted, my husband stained the door , added some decorative hinges, and some door trim and it is perfect. I love it and could not be happier !! Looks beautiful on my kitchen pantry entry.

Love the door it turned out great after I stained it. Installing not so easy for me but it got done and looks great in my room. Used it to replace bathroom door.
