Very noisy. Could not adjust temperature and then it just quit.

I thought this item would be like an air conditioner assembled and ready to plug in but there was no plug disappointed to say the least

Expensive but I got exactly what I was hoping for -- a relatively quiet unit that quickly heats the room. I purchased the satin nickel unit and configured it to run on the 240 volt/1750 watt setting, it works perfectly. It's used to supplement our main furnace to heat the entertainment room in our basement. The room is approximately 300 sq ft and with its two-stage heating it brings the temps up nicely in short order. I like the fact that it has a remote control as well as a separate remote temperature sensor.

Ours makes a lot of noise. It is more rattling buzzing noise sometimes. Too loud for sleeping. I do not know if this is just ours or if they are all this loud. I have hunch it is just ours.
