Cheap aluminum and plastic. I wish I had sent them back the chrome coating is coming off the plastic parts.

This is a towel rack that is not water resistant. The shelf at the bottom isn't water proof at all so if it gets wet, the wood will start separating. And I'm getting rust on the chrome part less than 6 months in from dampnness. Tl;dr - it's garbage unless you plan on keeping it in a place with low humidity and no wetness (and who wouldn't do that with a towel rack!)

This is sturdy and is handy especially for a small bathroom.

Sturdy, no need to put holes in wall

We love them. Very solid and very pretty. Easy to assemble.
