Can't give minus stars. Paid a lot of money for it, then paid a plumber to install it properly. It stopped working the 1st month & wouldn't turn off. Due to some personal problems here, my tenant didn't want to bother me, so she would shut it off under the sink. When I found out about it, I sent the plumber back. He said the whole faucet had rusted/deteriorated. I've been trying to contact customer service & the "virtual" rep says it's not eligible for return since it's past 30 days. I've bought this brand before & it's been fine. Now this & I'm getting the runaround. Texted with what is supposed to be a real person & after my same explanation as above, no resolution.

Where to begin? ... This is the third Kingston Brass faucet I have purchased -- never again. Was happy with the first two, although I had a hassle with a warranty claim on the first one due to terrible customer service from Kingston. When this faucet had issues right out of the box, I again received terrible customer service. The problem with this faucet is that the threaded tube that is used BOTH to secure the faucet to the sink AND supply the side spray isn't nearly long enough. The tube needs to accommodate the height of the base plate PLUS the thickness of the sink (1" in my case, very standard countertop thickness) PLUS the thickness of the U-washer PLUS the locking nut PLUS the connecting nut for the sprayer hose. But the tube is only 2-3/8" long, with barely enough room to get the locking nut on, leaving no way to attach the sprayer hose (see photo). Quite simply, there is no possible way to install this except on a very thin surface, such as perhaps a one-piece stainless steel sink. Now here's where Kingston Brass really earns the one star review: I emailed them with these details and a few photos. The response was that there should be a SECOND tube for attaching the sprayer, rather than attaching to the existing threaded tube. This makes absolutely no sense in that 1) it contradicts the diagrams and installation instructions, 2) there clearly is no space where another tube should be (see photo), and 3) the sprayer hose worked when I attached it (as a test) to the single threaded tube, so water is clearly designed to flow through that tube. OK, fine, so then this is a manufacturing defect and Kingston should send out a replacement under warranty, right? Nope. They said I had to go through the seller, Wayfair. So I asked the guy at Kingston to send me a photo of a correctly-made unit showing the two tubes he claims it should have, and he just ignored me. So finally I contacted Wayfair, and even though it was outside their normal 30 day return period, they kindly agreed to send a replacement (which shipped directly from Kingston!). Kudos to Wayfair. I received the replacement in a few days and -- no surprise -- it also had only the single threaded tube! I immediately boxed it back up to return and sent another email to Kingston to let them know of my displeasure at having to waste my time proving to them that they don't know their own products and were too lazy to simply open a box and check. That email was sent on April 7th, and they have never responded (over two weeks later). Unprofessional and incompetent. As I mentioned earlier, this was similar to treatment I received (from the same person) with a warranty claim in 2017. In that case I had to threaten filing a BBB complaint to get any action. In this case, I was able to make a modification to be able to install the faucet properly, so I am keeping it only because I don't want to hassle with another return and finding a replacement, or deal with this company any more. This may be useful to others who have posted that their faucet is loose or wobbly. I bought a brass coupling and extension tube (see photos) which I attached to the single threaded tube from the faucet. The coupling replaced the locknut to tighten firmly against the U-washer, thus stabilizing the faucet, and the extension tube gave ample room to attach the spray hose. The faucet is now secure and working correctly. My final advice: stay away from Kingston Brass. Although they seem to make quality faucets (I did buy three of them), their awful customer service makes it not worth it if you have any issues. Update 9/11/24: Not long after the faucet was installed, it began leaking routinely at the top of the valve assembly where the handle attaches. So I contacted Kingston Brass on 8/27 to make a warranty claim, explaining the issue and attaching photos. Over two weeks later, I have received no response. In the meantime, I got sick of waiting, and contacted Wayfair to see if they would just accept a return. Kudos once again to them -- they authorized a return and full refund with no trouble whatsoever. I bought a very nice, highly rated Moen faucet as a replacement -- cheaper and with a lifetime warranty. It was easy to install and works perfectly. Also, around this same time, an older Kingston Brass kitchen faucet installed at another house began leaking from both the sidespray hose and at the brass supply tube leading to the valve, rendering it useless. I bought the same model Moen to replace that one and couldn't be happier. PLEASE avoid Kingston Brass with their unreliable products, unknowledgeable staff, and horrible customer service.
