I wanted to upgrade my 1930's vintage bathroom but still remain somewhat period, and this faucet was the perfect fit - I also got the matching clawfoot tub assembly from Kingston Brass as well. I looked at a lot of bright brass fixtures before purchasing these, and the vast majority looked so cheap in comparison. Extremely happy with my purchase!
