I wasn't able to use this after all as either it or the diverter that I purchased to allow for both hand held and mounted shower heads were too small for the other pieces.

Got this for a clawfoot tub we recently had installed. We ordered a whole kit for the faucet, supply lines etc which didn't have a riser with it. After getting a riser and realizing we wanted to keep the hand shower too, we realized the set-up wouldn't allow both because of the holder. So this pole holder works great, it fits well on the barclay shower riser we got and looks great, matches everything we already have.
