The plumbers fought all day with this tub. The drain and faucet barely fit in the same space and there isn’t enough room to set the drain where it is hidden. They chopped a hunk out of my beautiful tub to get it to work. I’m in the process of looking for an alternate tub and throwing this one out.

It took a very experienced plumber 2 full days to install this tub. The overflow drain specified by Kohler is very problematic. There is not enough space for the overflow drain and faucet to fit directly under the deck, which resulted in the faucet not mounting squarely on deck. In addition the overflow drain only attaches with three screws and a cheap piece of metal. When you try to tighten one screw it pulls the others away. The plumber had to use marine caulk to seal the overflow drain and I am not confident it will stand the test of time. I would have changed to a different brand tub however, the water supply line and drain were already laid out according to the specifications of this tub and it would have been a tremendous amount of work to move them in a marble floor. The quality of this product is disappointing and I would not recommend.
