Sink Installation: If you are installing a vessel faucet with your vessel sink, you should install the faucet first. Once the faucet is installed, position the sink on the countertop. Then, use the sink mounting ring and hardware to hold and secure the sink to the countertop (make sure someone is helping you!). Lastly, connect the drain from the inside of the sink and then connect the p-trap to the bottom of the drain.

It is not a vessel sink. It is a partial drop in. All documentation states vessel set on top. Only hole is drain. No you will need to cut a sink hole to set it in. Every picture shows it flat to the surface. Maybe they sent the wrong sink?

Horrible sink, defect in design in my opinion. Rather than curving in inside so that theres actually room to hold some water should you need to, the interior bubbles out leaving no room to soak anything. I sent it back ASAP.
